Pantz's Sweater

Pantz is Lucy's daughter, Lucy is a black lab, and Pantz is a yellow lab.
both are horse's compared to our toy poodle. Pantz needs a sweater that
can stay on her all the time, oh my, here goes,...

I sat and measured around Pantz neck, from neck to shoulders, down her
back to her rump, around her rib cage and then around her tummy.
Pantz: neck 22"; from neck down 20"; shoulder 6 1/2 "; 29" around.
Lucy: Neck 19 1/2",  from neck down her back to hind quarrters, 22";
shoulder 5 1/2"; around 29";

So I got started on Pantz's Red sweater (Photo above), I made her neck
piece, then did the shoulder piece, then chained attached and am now
working this hugh round body sweater. I've gone through most of a
skein of yarn and it's HUGH to say the least.

Finished the sweater and Rhonda brought Pantz & Lucy over to try on the
sweater. It was hugh on Pantz. Yarn stretches Jean, so we did a quick
re-count for the pattern and will make a new sweater tonight and get it to her Wednesday.

Here is the Country Rose Pink Sweater with adjustments made. It's a little snug but hopefully it will stretch. Other wise if I use yarn like the red was these instructions will work perfectly, but if I use a smaller type of yarn, I'll add another 2 sts for the body around her tummy, and might make a ruffle at the very end to accent the feminine side of Pantz..

NOTE:
I think I would add another 4 sts to body for Pantz, so instead of chaining 41,
I will ch 45 to the next sweater.
